It all started in Rantoul, IL when they were very young.  They would have mini-haunted houses either in their basement or on the front porch that escalated into interactive yard scenes!  People were always commenting on thier creativity and morbid imaginations.  After countless Halloweens and hundreds of trick-or-treaters, the idea emerged, "Hey we could make money doing this1"  Herb found a local business that was willing to rent out its basement space and thus a full functioning haunted house was born.  After several years of taking turns putting it on , Jason and Herb decided to form a partnership which is now recognized as the "Fear Factory" presented by the Haunt Masters.  Moving on to bigger and better things the Haunt Masters ventured out and rented several different sites on the former Chanute Air Force Base.  Unable to secure a building for more than a year they purchased an abandoned church in Danville.  The Haunt was good, but something was missing.  They moved to prime property, haunting space in both Forsyth and Bloomington, Normal mall, again something was missing.  Then it hit, they knew what they needed to do.....move the haunt back into Champaign County and more specifically; Rantoul!  

The Haunt Masters look forward to again reining the haunted circuit in this area and more importantly to scare you to death!  Along with old tricks and bizarre new ideas, the Haunt Masters guarantee a haunt that you'll remember.
